MacNoob “Zune Giveaway”!
As anyone who reads this blog would know, I’ve made my 17″ Macbook Pro my primary machine. I also own two iPods, a 30 gig 5.5 Gen iPod Video and a 16 gig iPod Touch. What you might not know is that I also own a 30 gig Zune. I only used it for a couple of months before I bought my first iPod. I’m a computer geek, not a marketing expert but I thought it might be a good promotion to give something away in hopes of getting more traffic to my blog. So, here’s the deal. When I get to 1000 registered users on MacNoob.net/blog I’ll randomly select one of them to win my Zune. I’ll even pay for the shipping! It’s that simple. In the sidebar of my main page there is a “Register” link where you can select a user name and supply an e-mail address. A login password will be e-mailed to you. Log in one time, and that’s it! You’re registered. I promise, your e-mail address will not be given to anyone!
The Zune is one of the original “first gen” models (black), but I’ve upgraded the firmware to the newest version (something I wish Apple would do with older iPods). I’ll also throw in all the extra Zune hardware I bought for it:
- A Zune carrying case
- A wall charger
- A Zune dock (with remote and A/V cables)
I’m just curious if something as simple as posting this will get my blog any attention. I’ll begin posting the number of registered users soon so everyone can keep track of when the drawing will be held.
